Explore New and Emerging Artists in Downtown Renton on the 4th Wednesdays of April, May, and June

Renton, WA – The Renton Downtown Partnership is excited to announce the return of the 2025 Art Walk, a vibrant community event showcasing the works of new and emerging artists throughout Downtown Renton. The Art Walk will take place on the 4th Wednesdays of the month from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, beginning in April and continuing through June. The event is free to attend and open to all ages.

Hosted at local businesses in downtown Renton, the Art Walk offers a unique opportunity for attendees to explore diverse artworks while supporting the local creative community. This event encourages the public to experience art in an interactive way by visiting various participating businesses throughout the evening.

As you stroll through the downtown area, be sure to pick up a "passport" pamphlet, available at any participating business. The passport will guide you through the locations of featured artists and allow you to check off your stops as you visit each venue. It's a fun and engaging way to immerse yourself in the local art scene while exploring Renton's vibrant downtown.

Who is hosting this event and who do I contact to get involved?

This event is being hosted by the Downtown Renton Partnership. The Renton Arts Commission is supporting the organization by spreading the word, volunteering and any further collaboration - big thank you to them! What is this event? What is there for me to do?

Our heart and mission is to have people get to know our Downtown community and businesses. On the day of the event, we will have pamphlets at all participating businesses that will have a “passport” of all participating artists. The businesses will be mapped on the passport pamphlet, where you can find the artists’ work to visit and mark off as you go. There will be a variety of artist mediums and even our local business owners presenting their works of art, with some live art happening as well!

What is the frequency of the events?

The fourth Wednesdays of the month, for 3 months. There will be a total of 3 Art Walks (for now!). Art will be displayed from 4pm to 7:30pm on those days. (April 24th, May 29th, and June 25th)

Does this event cost money?

It is completely free to attend and grab a passport to browse through the artists! Some may be selling their art, and of course businesses are open for business that you can support. But no cost to attend and participate.
